The North Bridge Alliance for Democracy of Lincoln, Massachusetts presents Author on Global Warming Ross Gelbspan at the Louisa May Alcott School Auditorium, in Concord. Everyone is invited and the talks are free. There will be ample time for questions. Ross Gelbspan's 1995 best-seller, The
Heat is On was instrumental in alerting the public about global
warming. Since then he has fought for climate protection programs
that defend the planet and promote sustainable growth. His latest
book is Boiling Point: How Politicians, Big Oil and Coal, Journalists
and Activists Are Fueling the Climate Crisis And What We Can Do to
Avert Disaster. The Boston Globe called it an "urgent, take-no-prisoners,
in-your-face expose." The talks are sponsored by the North Bridge chapter of theAlliance for Democracy, a national organization working todefend our government from corporate control.
